There are two types of memberships for D.I.A.L: Full member and Prospective member.
Full-fledged membership is meant for lawyers who meet the requirements mentioned in the association’s regulations and who have given their services as experts in matters related to child abductions by parents. The lawyer in question can submit a list of services rendered, on request of the board.
Lawyers who do not (yet) meet the requirements mentioned in the association’s regulations can also apply for membership but shall not yet be acknowledged as experts in the field of child abductions by parents. Once the prospective member in question meets the requirements, he/she shall become a full member.
